A Tale Dark & Grimm (5th Grade)
By Adam Gidwitz

This trilogy shows how all of the Grimm fairy tales relate in a particularly gruesome way. If you don't like blood, death, and punishment for the wicked, I suggest that you put this book down and go read something happy. But it is pretty true to the spirit of the original Grimm's fairy tales.
